In case you didnt know; the West Midlands cultural focus for the 2012 Olympiad is dance! Woo hoo! In celebration of this, The West Midlands Leadership Group for London 2012 is organising People Dancing -a programme of activity founded on the principle of encouraging mass participation in dance, as part of the regions cultural activity leading up to London 2012.
Whether youre a professional dancer, choreographer,dance company, student or you simply love to dance, People Dancing is for you its for everybody! Building on the rich and diverse dance infrastructure that exists in the West Midlands, the aim is to get people of all ages, skills and abilities dancing across the region.
The West Midlands Leadership Group are hosting a series of events throughout the region to launch the programme, outline the resources available and explain how you can be part of this major regional dance initiative. These events are being held on the following dates:
Wednesday 25 February

Friday 27 February
10.30am-12.30pm The Belgrade Theatre, Coventry
Monday 2 March
10.30am-12.30pm Stafford Gatehouse Theatre, Stafford
Wednesday 4 March
11am-1pm Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Birmingham
