August shows at Malvern Theatres

Theres a few interesting shows coming up at Malvern Theatres Festival Theatre. On 4th-9th August theres Le Grand Cirque: Fantazie, described as The next Generation of Cirque du Soleil with artists from around the world performing a stunt-and-spectacle filled feast for the eyes.If the wet weathers getting you down perhaps Singin in the Rain (17th-22nd August) will cheer you up. Starring Tim Flavin as Don Lockwood, its got all the old all-singing, all-dancing favourites – Good Morning, Make em Laugh, Moses Supposes, You Were Meant For Me and of course Singin in the Rain (they used milky water in the film, you know. Really). On 24th-29th August is Magic of the Dance, a show of spectacular dance celebrating the history of Ireland. Choreographed by 8 times World Champion John Carey with narrative by Christopher Lee (I know, I did a double-take there too) and Enchanting music, breathtaking pyrotechnicswith the Worlds greatest Irish dancers, this looks like one seriously invigorating, feelgood treat.
