In this illuminating programme, Charles Hazlewood immerses himself in the world of contemporary dance, actively participating in it, to discover how movement works for him and to find his own way into a greater understanding of it. Guiding him are exponents from the contemporary dance world, including Jonzi D, Caroline Bowditch, Richard Alston, Mayuri Boonham, Lea Anderson and Janet Smith, who provide their own passions and insights into an often misunderstood genre.
The programme airs on Thursday 30 June at 8pm on BBC Four, and is repeated on Friday at 23.55 and Sunday at 01.10. I assume itll be available to view on iPlayer over the next week or so too.
